Go to Benin in the south on a moped!

Finally, you will take the fishing route that runs along the sea to Cotonou, visiting the fishing villages!

The duration of this tour can vary between 9 days and 13 days, on the date that you have set yourself . You will be accompanied by a guide for the duration of your stay in Benin. We can take care of you, either in Cotonou if you are staying with your family, or at the airport if you are arriving from outside Benin. Whatever the time of arrival, our team will welcome you at the airport.

A reminder of the formalities to go to Benin

Administratively: Tourists of foreign nationalities in Benin must have a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of return to their country of origin. This passport must be completed with a visa , the application can be made online by clicking on the e-visa link . It should be noted that the validity date of your visa starts on the day of your application, and that it takes 48 hours to obtain it. Payment is also made online.

In terms of health, you must also have an international vaccination record proving that you are vaccinated against yellow fever . For your safety, you should also check the mandatory diphtheria-tetanus-polio (DTP) vaccination update . Possibly if you are sensitive to mosquito bites, a preventive anti-malaria treatment is also recommended, or failing that you must bring powerful repellents.

You can sleep at the inhabitant, in bivouac, or in hostel according to the circumstances , we advise you to come with your canvas of tent for the bivouacs.

For organizational reasons, the trip takes place in full board during the bivouacs, namely breakfast, lunch, dinner, and bottle of spring water (3 bottles per day).

Different means of transport depending on the daily schedule

Unlike our other tours, we suggest you use the Beninese means of transport. The bush taxi, the zem, the canoe and the moped . If you do not want to use the moped, in this case we will offer you to travel by motorcycle taxi, a means of transport widely used in Benin.

How are visits to tourist sites organized in Benin?

The main tourist sites, like Ouidah, Grand Popo are paying and sometimes a guide requires the presence of a local guide, this is why, the price of the circuit includes the entrance fees, the local guide when this one is obligatory. , canoes when necessary or any other expenses necessary for the proper organization of the excursion.
